The 10-Minute FBA Leak Checklist
Grab a coffee and open Seller Central. Go down this list once a month. Every box you can't tick is money that may be slipping away.
1. Reimbursements (lost & damaged units)
- Check your reimbursement report for units marked lost or damaged in Amazon's warehouse.
- For any lost or damaged unit with no matching reimbursement, open a case with proof (invoice or proof of ownership).

2. Missing inbound units
- For each recent shipment, compare units you sent to units Amazon received.
- If they don't match, open an investigation with your invoice, packing list, and tracking.

3. Fee overcharges
- Look up the size and weight Amazon has on file for your top 5 sellers.
- Measure one packaged unit yourself. If Amazon's numbers push it into a higher size tier, ask for a re-measure and a refund of the extra.
Denied? Fbaleaks drafts the rebuttal →
4. Customer returns
- Match recent refunds to returns. Flag any refund where the item never came back.
- Check returns marked "customer damaged" or "unsellable" that looked fine to you. Those may be claimable.
Denied? Fbaleaks drafts the rebuttal →
5. Storage & aged inventory
- Sort your inventory by age. Anything close to the aged inventory surcharge needs a plan: reprice, remove, or liquidate.
- Before October, clear slow stock. Monthly storage fees are higher Oct–Dec.
